Doom 3 - Quest for the light switch...

The thing that bugs me about this game is probably the thing that bugged everybody else. Are you trying to tell me that on the entire planet of Mars there isn't one roll of Duct Tape, to tape the damn flashlight to my shotgun? It's the only game I've ever had to use the second mouse button as a hot button for my flashlight.

Not true! It took me a while but I got it working. Like you probably already know, after I installed D3:ROE it demanded that I input a serial for both Doom 3 and Doom 3:ROE. It would accept the serial I had for ROE, but the serial I had for D3 didn't work anymore.

After trying a whole page of D3 serials, none of them worked. I had a couple good serial for ROE that it would accept, so I used one of the other ROE serials for the DOOM 3. Bingo! Working.

block internet connection to doom3 or plug off the modem - works every time

The easiest way is to use the crackfix by mINT. Tinkering with crappy serials sucks.
