How can I add HTML to my post?

Even with "HTML is ON" in Options I can't seem to enforce any tag in the message. It's still being printed like regular text.
I was thinking of embedding a Youtube video and such.

Actually, I think posting html is not allowed as it would introduce all kind of spamming/security vulnerabilities... :(
