If people want to do a comparison on clearing a page, I suggest posting the time it took to clear the FAQ page as that page will remain the same size. Forum topics will expand with more people posting, which creates more room for the demons to infest.

Happy birthday 3dsl! That Doom shootout is really unexpected thing, but nice. It's really strange that this site turns 10 years, a decade....I don't know how to put this right, but by the internet marks (which is really no more than 20 years old, if we talk about www) it's really really long, so it is by the human life standarts.
I question myself how durable those digital technologies that we got now: some are probably would last more than books if stored right, but you'll hardly find a good working hard drive that is 10 year old, other types of memory are yet to be tested by time. I'm afraid that if something happens to the internet, such as global collapse of DNS servers, we will lost much of what we have, and destruction of Alexandrian library by fire would be pale in comparison. With all the free file hosts deleting uploaded stuff, 3DSL looks like a floating junk town from Waterworld (yeah, that great Kevin Costner flic) and it's even more surprising why it's still around, while many well-known and commercial sites are not.
It's odd to describe how am I feel towards the internet and things I'm doing there, because it's like parallel reality, not just a mass communication environment or digital network. Probably we never appreciate the fact, because it came to our life gradually, over the years, instead of instant future-is-now digital blast.

I can remember the start before 10 years, the complex of problems with the web storage was similar. Recently i put my old cd´s with Email / Account generators (do you still know gca2 etc. to bring zip´s into a graphic format?) in the trash. The most of my burned cd´s from this time have to commit suicide. So i be happy when i search for an old good shooter and can come back to download it.
Furthermore i wish you the power to hold this site alife.
