I just downloaded 3 files (from 100 to 700 MB) successfully. It works fine.

Bad, I get the "NZB is still processing" page for hours - this didn't happen to me before. Seems that the service is broken again...

Usegrab is working again. Seems they have switched providers.

Good news, let's hope the site will now work as it should.

Now I have to cut all binary collections into 500 MB parts and use UsenetStorm... But this one is also getting stuck on some NZB (It gave me a 130 MB file whereas I asked 400 MB :x )

I remember that UsenetStorm has a download limit. I don't remember how much and for how long it lasts though.

I think it's 500MB or 1GB and 24 hour wait till you can download more. I don't like to use them unless I need a part for a release I can't find anywhere else. Also I think their premium service was expensive compared to traditional NNTP providers (But that doesn't matter right now, PayPal suspended their account. Why, who knows?).

Nether Usegrab ("NZB is still processing"), UsenetStorm (upload stuck at 0%) or BinLoad (closed) work. My previous ISP gave Usenet access with 1000 days retention and no bandwidth limit, I should had kept him as provider

Nothing good (and free) is working at the moment. A while ago I pointed out to XS Usenet as a free usenet provider. At the time of my post they offered a retention of 400 days, which has been lowered now to only 10 days.

My ISP provides usenet with 40 days retention but it sucks big time, because often I'm unable to get things complete.

XS is a well-made service for very recent files. I don't mind about the 10 days retention because my favourite poster (NoRegret) sometimes reupload his files on a.b.cd.image. The only problem is the speed: ~100 kb/s.

The UseGrab forum seems to be dead, I don't think I'll even get a response if I ask there for news...

Found another one (but it's not good either):

NZBLOAD

Code: Select all
http://www.nzbload.com

Free

100 MB/Hour Traffic
One Download
No Resume Support
Wait & Captcha
DL-Manager Restricted
Speed Limited

Another problem is that this site provides no zip files like Usegrab or UsenetStorm. That means if the NZB contains multiple files you need to download them all separately.
