Just grab the GOG release of MOHAA War Chest and install that to a non-system drive, then figure out if needing the admin privileges or not has any difference, then lastly when satisfied with the settings set close the game and set the CFGs to read-only just in case

I am not on GOG. Have no Digital Platform. I only make Original Iso.

You don't need to be on GOG to get GOG game versions. You just need to, uh, know where to look.

ALSO you shouldn't install games to C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86) because then there might be issues with e.g. saving games. Because quite simply put, apps are blocked from saving within Program Files folders.

Well, the GOG version of the war chest pack will work on modern systems as that's the purpose of Good Old Games releases.
