Considering what the game offers from the tech side, its very well optimized. Ofcource they could have gone on the easiest way and make it FarCry 1.5, but they did not. You have to understand that the game is oozing with technology: breakable trees, very high view distance, autonomous AI, high amount of shaders, huge maps, voxels, high polycount etc., so obviously the game runs on 20fps sometimes, even on high end machines. We are lucky they made it possible to run this game at all on lowspec. My hardware is 7 years old, but I still am able to run it. pfff, I have played 70% of them and they are major suckage. hate'em, I like fps which is strictly pc genre. Plus, you can't upgrade them. So, once you will be in stone age.mostly the reason I stick to consoles to play new stuff.
I meant the singleplayer is a one time stuff. I don't play multiplayer because I see no point in it. Just pointless killings. And I like dialogs, read some texts, a plot, for god's sake. I'm not interested in killings of some ppl just for useless points, ranks or some other shit. But if you like - go ahead and play, I don't really care. Everybody chooses what he likes, after all.Oh, and I would disagree that CoD4 is a 'one time play', multiplayer is ridiculously addictive, but I guess you wouldn't know unless you bought the game.

like said above its running constantly at 60 fps ( btw d3 uses a fps ticker that limits the fps so noone will get more than 60 just if one turns that thing of in the cfg and that doesnt increase performance btw )
but always when that stupid zombie soldier is shooting me with the shotgun ( just then ) the framerate drops that much
that its really noticeable.......
