Misspoke. Artwork video gallery is unlocked on new game. Cinematic video gallery is locked until first save point. Shattered works correctly.


Fixed aspect ratio code. Should work on UHD resolutions or oddball types (16:10, 3:2, 5:4, ..).

Will fix aspect for us + polish builds later. Which would just leave sticky mouse (...defeat?) or forced 4:3 default video bootup (maybe attempt).

RhymeKidder, i'm wondering, would you port your resolution/widescreen patch to SoT and WW? Btw, are you familiar with MIPS? Because i figured out, that PS2 version has some additional checksum protections, and i managed to remove only main one (and it let me to use fake checksums for those two remain protections, but it has limitations - works only for single save on memory card, and doesn't work for some saves) Also, both PSP versions of Rival Swords (T2T) US and EU is censored there, dunno if there is some chances to uncensor it too?

Planning to release source code for mod when finished. Someone else might have more update ideas. PC SoT + WW = uncommitted but interested - not sure how much tweaking they'd actually need.

I can read MIPS, write not so much. Debugging ps2 or psp I cannot. They'd have to be like PC cheat engine, olly, x64dbg + idapro = flexible.


PC decaps rely on asm code that specifically checks these values:

Updated thin resolutions (5:4) to not crop anymore
Aspect correction for videos
Ability to skip videos (spacebar)
--(adjust video volumes via ini value) - little too loud for me
Verified "fixed" decaps use correct animations from ps2 videos
--(Unlock video gallery from start) - found magic value
--(Remove additional checksum protection) - profile.dat, maybe save files also??

The posted anonfiles link contains six saves (incl. Mental Realm) on Hard (made from trial). I'm not interested in another playthrough in Normal ATM
Also found that there may exist incompatibilities between saves of various versions, when loading the Hanging Gardens on some (inside the noted archive) the enemies near the sand portal won't be there and the portal will be blocked (seen immediately after load, tested on Trilogy), will need to test some more, along with the latest mod, please verify this claim ppl...

Tested the latest mod. I put the sensitivity at 5000 but it is still very slow. I don't remember it was like this when I played the game in the past.

Thanks. Won't be needing Normal save anymore - Hard sets same "completion" flags. Secret weapons work regardless which difficulty you finish.

Stupid questions but here goes. Maybe repetitive.
01. Vsync on/off same?
02. Make sure game running at 60fps max?
03. Adjust mouse dpi?
04. Disable windows mouse acceleration?
05. Slow pointer speed?
06. Run cpu slowdown limiter?
07. Try installing standard windows HID-compliant mouse driver?
08. Trackball? Laser?

Only thought is either your mouse is polling so fast, it needs some type of "delaymouse" - have no idea about this. Or game uses "negative" acceleration to control motion.

I do know if that you use a high amount of "force" - game will cap you when spinning around. Small amounts of mouse movement don't activate this ceiling. And I have no idea where this happens. Just like skipping in-game cutscenes, it allows you to spacebar them after dying but zero.zero idea where that flag is.

Mouse lag bug is winning big-time (for those at Ubi forums who experience it).

Decided to add DVD check removal to plugin. No extra exe replacement.

Almost finally done. This game must've owned me for 4-5 months now.

Tried this save on us uncracked, dvd uncracked. No errors noted yet.

thanks for the info, but its still broke for me. the d/l stops at ~65MB. never completes the 95MB needed. if someone has the full 95mb file it be aprreciated.
