Re: General questions about the site
Happy New Year! It means I won't be making entries for every notable game released in 2020 like was done in the past. Only once in awhile I might add major titles that spark my interest.

Re: General questions about the site
My guess is, when inserting URLs in a post, after clicking Submit (if the option above is checked) no URLs in the post will be converted into clickable hyperlinks (blue underlined), but will instead just remain as regular text, and any other user will just have to copy/paste that text manually into their own address bars to go there (the only exception is with the URL BBCode surrounding the selected text - that would have to be parsed no matter what)Porus wrote:Do not automatically parse URLs

See the dashed white line below this post's text proper? See some text there + a spinning globe (or a modded flag of Canada in Scaryfun's case)? See that those tend to appear after each post a user creates? That section below this post-wide line can hold user-defined stuff that the user thought is relevant to pay attention to, AND/OR can define a user (as in user-defining, like an avatar); based on that second trait is how the section in question is named drumroll the signaturePorus wrote:Attach a signature

Windows is shutting down (← that is me way of ending a post proper, like "Regards" etc, and I'll never cease typing it

Re: General questions about the site
If I have downloaded a large game (above 15 GB) from a site like IGG or Gamepciso, and I also want to upload it, but I can't for some reasons: maybe I slow internet 50-300 kbps or small amount of monthly data (considering everyone in your home uses the same wifi for downloading their own stuff: movies, games, songs etc) or not enough storage on my file hosting account, which I intend to use for uploading other smaller games (and really don't want to create more accounts for just one game). So the question is, can I use the uploads/links from sites like Gamepciso/IGG (for large games) and paste them here while also mentioning who uploaded it, or do I have to upload it myself.
NOTE: I am not talking about all games, just large games like newer call of duty games (older than 3 years of course), or Halo - Master Chief Collection and many more that exceed 100 GB.

Re: General questions about the site
The general rule is that for the LW main site, only personal uploads make the cut. However, IF you post the links SOLELY on the forum with a CLEAR information that it's an upload from another site and that you REQUEST it to be mirrored, I'm sure someone will mirror the files you found, for a legit LW upload.
