Whats a Syntax error ???

hi first

so now to my problem

like always im dumb enough to download any kind of shit i find on warez sites and so i downloaded a Russian CS Source version

i thought its not necessary to understand russian because its not an adventure or something like this

ok so far so good when i click on the setup exe i get a message

"syntax error file system or file folders not found"

what the hell is this i dont have any errors during extract
WTF !

plz help me

i found the problem

everything is in russian and now i found the US emporio version

If you didn't compile the source you got a sysntax error because of that. Source files usually aren't playable on their own. They need to be compiled.

i removed the russian letters from the folder then it worked

but anyways its nonsense damn counter strike
i stay at doom and Q3
