Need more imformation, what exactly do you mean by "it didn't work"? What happened? You know you have to start it with the 'unecm.bat' right?

Drag Hired.ECM over unecm.exe. Should unpack it... you might need to add .bin extention to the file you get as output.

I downloaded this and had the same problem. When I unecmed the 'hire.ecm', it spit out something that's just identified as a file, 'hired.file'. But like you said I was able mount it when I changed it to hired.bin, and selected it with daemontools. But why is there a cue file and a ccd file if niether of them are any good?

Sorry for the incorrect unecm.bat file. Inside it should read:

unecm Hired.ecm Hired.img

I must have been a bit tipsy when making the whole package.

I never use those BAT files, just drag and drop the ECM file to UNECM.EXE (like hfric recommended).
