anyone had this Texture Upgrade for Unreal

does the set-up of these files sound utterly complicated or is it just me ? here's a suggestion for the FAQ ... what is OpenGL, how to get it and how to make good use of it ? or would that lead us too far ?

Wow ya I see what you mean there derek, it looks like it should be easy but it isn't. Everything was ok till I got to step 7a. I installled the OpenGL support like it says but then it talks about going to advanced options then to look for S3TC textures and set them all to true but I can't see that. My game launches ok and plays but everything looks weird, shadows and textures acting funny.

Got same problem. I've been searching for solution for quite a long time, but didn't found enything

I've downloaded few opengl drivers and the game looked cool, but I had no luck with high quality textures

Did anyone managed to run S3TC textures on GeForce card???
(UT with S3TC enabled looks awesome and I can't have it... noooooooo

)
