The GFWL was a pain in the a## for gears of war, I even downloaded the GFWL client and created a local profile in-game (with auto sign-in enabled), and the game would progress normally, then suddenly it would reset its progress randomly (campaign progress/checkpoints, in-game settings like audio, video, controls etc). I replayed this game 4 times because of this but still the problem persists. I encountered a similar problem with Bulletstorm, but it was solved after I stumbled upon the ElAmigos' release of the game (it said that it used a GFWLiveEmu by Tapek/Catspaw), so I thought of downloading their release of Gears Of War (2007), as it used the same GFWLiveEmu as Bulletstorm, but the MEGA, Google Drive and torrent links were down on both their sites (
https://www.elamigos-games.com/games/gears-of-war and
https://elamigosedition.com/594-gears-of-war.html), so I downloaded the game from here
http://www.ovagamespc.com/gears-of-war- ... migos.html. And after installing it asked me if I wanted to install GFWL, at first I thought it was going to install the emulator, but it turned out to be the actual GFWL client, and while going through the game's files I couldn't find any xlive.dll and xlive.ini (Bulletstorm had those 2 files and they were the GFWL emulators) so now I am confused because their site said that there IS an emulator included with the game, so, did ovagames tamper with the release or upped an older one, or the emulator was never really included in the game.
