4 Shared had gotten much worse

I was upping yesterday and and sometimes it would flake out and doesn't give the pop-up when it's complete. I just checked my network activity to see when it stopped or click the My4shared directory then the folder and file will show there if it's done. Then I have to refresh page to see the upload files area again.

Same here. Sometimes after uploading a lot of files only 3-4 make it to the 4shared folder. Very frustrating.

@Meddle...even though it doesn't allow on jdownloader, I could still download the files by hand.

Maybe you were already logged in into one of your accounts. By hand I'll get a popup to register or login before I can download such files.

What a pita. Ugh. Well I'm not going do anything about it until I get the rest of my missing uploads online again. Then I'll think about redoing those that are "too big".

A 100.000.000 bytes file can still be downloaded without an account.

I can't download .nfo files without an account either.

No problems with NFO files. The only thing I can think of that it must be a country thing.

Today I tried to login into some of my 4shared accounts and I got the "Link is not valid" message. I got this in FF and Opera, in IE it was working like normal. Now it's OK again in FF and Opera.

4shared is having problems, possibly due to the increased traffic after the MU shutdown.

I think they've been playing with there coding. There have been all sorts of strange, temporary problems in the last month or so.

Yesterday, I went to download what someone upped and it was only 50MB files and it still asked me to register or login to download them. Oh well, it's only an extra step if you have your browser remember your login for an account.

I also noticed today when creating a folder, you now have to click Share folder right below where you give the folder a name.
@Meddle - Check those folders of yours if beside the sharing url of the folder there's a Share button, you have to click it. If it says Unshare then it's already shared.

It seems sometimes you need to login to download, sometimes not. I think there should be a note about this in the FAQ page.

They already say unshared, I really don't know whats up.

I've figured out the problem (kind of). Using a new account has cleared up that silly "link is not valid" problem on my folder links. I can only guess that there is some flag (maybe corruption) set on the old accounts.

Additionally the option to use ftp to upload is very nice.

Probably not, I was thinking of moving all my uploads to Mega, but it's something like 250GB on 4shared.

Having to login from 4shared account to download has been around for few years now already. Are you sure you just didn't logoff the account inadvertently? Just login again...

you know that on each login you can download 3 gig per day / max 30 gig per month ... i have like 20 logins in my Jdownloader and i never hit a snag ,

I fixed the problem, I'm reuploading my games. Unluckily some of them are a no go until I get one of my computers back.
