New database site versions & upgraded forum on Aug 14/01

Not sure if that can be fixed without Photoshop which I uninstalled from this comp already. But is the new background colour of pages now better or worse?

I don't know. I am just used to the old way. Which usually the story with most changes (even when they are for the better) people just like what they are used to. Anyways, personally I think that since its easier on your eyes and you are the one putting in all great work updating the site, then keep whats easier for you.

Maybe put up a poll to see what everyone else thinks.

Overall I think it works, even though I prefer the much more subdued colors of the forum, it does seem to be more readable.

I didn't realise it was on A-Z Index, but I did change the main background colour. I'm using old browsers on a win98 comp due to my other comp dying and the color was too bright so I toned it down.

Now that you have gotten a new computer will the site go back to the old colors? Or is it going to stay as it is?

You liked the brighter green? We got several complaints about it in the past...so now it's less harsh on the eyes.

Well, I liked that the heading and side links matched the rest of the page and that there was a contrast between the main page and the separate Alphabet frame (which does not seem to be a separate frame anymore just a table). But if there were actual complaints about it then of course keep the new look.
