The artwork contained within this series from the creators of the Submachine series is well-conceived and the atmosphere is enticingly moody. This game just sort of plonks you into the countryside where you might not have any reason to think of peeping inside a tree trunk or picking up a random pot. Your task in this point and click adventure game is to find out the reason why death stalks the land. Is it a plague, or something more sinister? It is up to you to find out and stop it. Morbid 2: The Cure (Oct/2010) picks up where the first chapter left us, and just in time for everyone's favorite spooky holiday. The best part of this horror-themed, point-and-click adventure series remains the atmosphere. The black-and-white art and subtle ambient sounds are creepy and evocative. There are no jump scares or shocking gore, just a mood of well-crafted, eerie desolation. | ||
