Makoto is a student who never attends the lectures at the school. As a punishment, he has to attend an extra seminar on an island with other classmates. However, when he arrives on the island, strange thing start happening. A girl is found dead on April 6th, with a small bell in her hand. Immediately after that, Makoto finds himself in bed and sees the date - April 1st! Was the vision of the girl just a dream, or does he possess the power to predict the future? This is what he will have to find out as a series of strange deaths make his seminar much more suspenseful than he would have thought. Never7 is a visual novel. The player reads text accompanied by still anime-style pictures and from time to time makes decisions, which branch the plot, lead to different endings, and unlock new scenarios. In 2020, an unofficial Eternal Edition was released that was a full, improved reimplementation of Never7 using the LÖVE engine, with new quality of life features, options and upscaled visuals. |
