Sonic World is a fan game engine geared towards the Adventures and Heroes games. It is a very advanced enhancement of the BlitzSonic engine. The game is also very customizable. One of the game's focuses is characters. 20+ playable characters. They are all individual with a certain set of shared moves. The game is looking to mix the best of Sonic games altogether along with new ideas. All characters share main moves like stomp and spin dash, making all characters provide a similar level of entertainment. All characters also have their individual special moves, making all characters unique in their own way, some examples: Sonic's ring dash, Shadow's chaos spear, Cream's Cheese attack, Silver's psychokinesis, Knuckles and Rouge's climbing, and much more. Different types of missions: normal run, time attack, robot killer, ring collector, treasure hunt, gold pursue, confetti parade, and stealth. Teams system from Heroes returns. Custom teams are also available. It allows you to mix-and-match 3 of any of the characters and make your own team. The ability to have a team of only 2 is also available, similar to Sonic and Tails from Sonic Adventure, or you can also still play with only 1 character. Visual enhancements.
