Yu-Gi-Oh! comes to the PC in this game which is set up as a card battling game without any extra genres added in such as RPG elements or adventure elements that are part of other Yu-Gi-Oh! games. You have one person to battle in this game - Yugi. You start the game with a deck of 40 cards and no extras and must win battles against Yugi in order to get new cards to improve your deck. The game's battles are set up as either a single battle, or a match battle. The match battles take much longer as you have to win (or lose) more than once before you end the match. In the single battle, you either win or lose once and then you can play another battle if you want. With the match battle, however, you can use a side deck to trade cards in and out of your deck (if you have some) in order to improve your deck based on what you see your opponent has for cards. |
