Dragons John Foster & Korky Paul / Oxford University Press, Europress Software Ltd. 1996

This interactive storybook CD-ROM is narrated by Harry Enfield and Sandi Toksvig. It's an engaging mixture of poetry, music, and fun encouraging young children to develop their reading and listening skills and helping them to learn while they play. It takes children into a labyrinth of tunnels where many adventures await them. It transports youngsters to the dragon's lair where they can find every kind of dragon they can think of - and some they'd sooner not think of. There are pet dragons, purple dragons and fiery dragons. They chase teachers, visit the vet and even play the banjo and when children reach the lair, they can hear songs about their favourite dragon and sing along to the words on the screen. Clicking on the library door will give them a feast of fun poems which are read aloud and there are click-and-play musical numbers to enjoy.
