The cubicle crew at Dunder Mifflin, Inc., are subjects of their first video game, courtesy of casual games publisher MumboJumbo. Based on the NBC version of the show starring ASteve Carrell (which itself was based on the acclaimed British series created by Ricky Gervaise), this has players interacting with Michael Scott, Dwight Schrute, Jim Halpert, Pam Beesly, and the rest of the gang in a lighthearted task-oriented game designed in the spirit of Diner Dash, Cake Mania, and similar offerings. By maneuvering through the quirkiness, whether it's a dysfunctional fax machine or the idiosyncrasies of oddball co-workers, they'll be able to spend a year at the Scranton branch of the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. The frenzied fun of The Office game has players competing to be the best paper salesman and playing pranks to slow down rival players who might be getting ahead. The game characters are bobble-head caricatures of the television show cast. |
