Everyone's favorite pill-eating hero is turning 25, and to celebrate, Namco brings this game to the PC. Once again, Pac-Man must chomp his way through a number of different worlds battling ghosts and other new enemies. It's Pac-Man's birthday, but just as he's about the cut the cake, he finds himself transported from his home to the mysterious Spectral Realm. It turns out the evil genius Erwin has discovered a way to enter the ghost world, but because of his invention, the walls between the worlds are breaking down. This means the ghost world and the real world will soon merge, creating chaos as the ghosts take over. Only Pac-Man can save the world from evil by defeating Erwin and destroying his machine. While the traditional power pills are still around, Pac-Man will need more than just their super power to defeat enemies because many of his new opponents can't be eaten. Fortunately, Pac-Man has a number of new attacks at his disposal. He can punch, butt-bounce, and curl up into a ball to roll over his enemies. Not all of these attacks will work on each enemy; the butt-bounce attack, for example, is useless against creatures with spikes on them. Control the ghosts - a special feature now allows players to control pinky and Clyde. Store an arsenal of power-ups like the power ribbon, time decelerator, electro-charge, chrome power, and super butt bounce and super-charge them by collecting special fruits. Get transported into classic 2d and 3d Pac-man mazes to compete for bonuses. New Pac-man moves now you can climb fences, jump up walls, swing around poles and punch enemies.
