Aardman Animations' quirky inventor and his faithful canine companion are starring in a series of completely new, interactive adventures - with imaginative storylines and the exceptional craftsmanship that fans of the Wallace & Gromit films have come to expect. In Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures, you'll play as both Wallace and Gromit as the duo embarks on a series of ambitious business ventures, then scramble to pick up the scattered pieces when plans go awry. It is an episodic series of games similar to Telltale's Samd & Max Season 1 & 2. You can control either character and the story encompasses "some new entrepreneurial ideas from Wallace, unintended consequences, Gromit saving the day, Wallace saving the day (no, really!), dastardly villains, colourful locals, romance, kidnapping, chase scenes, camaraderie, and Wensleydale. Wallace is forever coming up with more elaborate ways to drive a nail, and he naturally continues to do so throughout this series. Several of the new inventions have to do with food for some reason, including one that scans the molecular structure of common objects and makes ice cream flavoured to match. As for those chase scenes, a couple of contraptions can be ridden upon, and there is one which is worn on the head. Pandemonium is caused, resulting in an air raid and at least one arrest by the local constabulary. Episode #1 Fright of the Bumblebees (March 24) - Wallace attempts to save his bumbling honey business through the growth of supersized flowers. When these giant flowers lead to an unintended consequence, giant bees, Gromit must step in to save the town from the angry swarm. Episode #2 The Last Resort (May) - When unrelenting rain ruins their holiday plans, Wallace & Gromit bring the beach to 62 West Wallaby with a makeshift resort — in their basement. Keeping customers satisfied is tricky business, especially when one of them is clocked on the head by an unknown assailant. Whodunnit? Find out... with a little help from Wallace's latest invention, the Deduct-o-matic! Episode #3 Muzzled! (June) Monty Muzzle, a newcomer in town, is holding a grand fundraiser to rebuild the local dog shelter. Gromit soon realizes that Muzzle's intentions aren't exactly charitable and he must foil the huckster's plot to save the town's investment and rescue his canine friends. Episode #4 The Boogey Man (July) Wallace has been admitted to Prickly Thicket, the oldest country club in Lancashire. Wallace and his faithful caddie Gromit get wrapped up in a decades-old club dispute that threatens to destroy their peaceful West Wallaby lifestyle, and the duo must fight to save the neighborhood they hold dear! | ||
