The player assumes the role of Nancy Drew, as she travels to a fictional Bavarian castle, Castle Finster, in Germany. Her object in traveling there is to discover the truth behind a local legendary monster, which has been recently causing trouble for the castle residents. Local legend tells of a creature that marauded the area centuries ago, wreaking havoc and ultimately causing the death of a young woman before disappearing without a trace. Can you, as Nancy Drew, unmask the creature before you suffer the same terrible fate? Plug into castle security cameras, and uncover hidden rooms and secret passages. Play a German folk tale game, roll the dice in an intricate mini-game, and earn and spend euros on trinkets and souvenirs at the castle store. Delve into German culture, discover captivating facts and local lore. It will be the first game in the series to feature improved installation, gameplay, and graphics through the use of a DVD for installation of physical copies of the game. |
