In March 1974, peasants digging a new well near Zian, China's ancient capital, unearthed fragments of a life-size terra cotta statue of a warrior. Archaeologists rushed to the site and discovered that the soldier was a small portion of the huge tomb complex of the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang Di, who unified China, standardized Chinese writing, and oversaw the completion of the Great Wall. The First Emperor of China brings the treasures of Qin Shi Huang Di to CD-ROM.
