This is a new style of eLearning games created in the style of a 3D console game ( rather than many flat, 2D school games). It's a project aimed at getting 13-15 year old school children interested in nanotechnology and science generally. It's completely free to play, and batches of CDs went out to every single school in the Republic of Ireland for free. Was it an accident due to misplaced curiosity or a malicious deed by a desperate scientist? Either way an innocent young person has to fight for their life in world beyond imagination. It's a cold harsh world and they won't survive long. Can you get them out? Can you help Jack and Orla escape from the nanoworld? Discover that size really matters in NanoQuest, an epic 3D adventure through the tiny world of nanotechnology. The new version includes the Virus Attack Bonus Game which takes Jack and Orla on an adventure inside an animal cell. Throughout the game you will see various bonus pickups. When you collect one of these it improves your score. It's up to you to judge whether they are worth the extra time they take to collect. In the nanocar level you might find a really cool quantum tunnelling wormhole. If you are smart enough to figure this out it could really ramp up your score. | ||
