Corpse-Party Zero Sanmaru / Noraenu 2007

Created using the RPG Maker XP engine, this fan-made survival horror adventure game was released in Japan in 2007 and an American group called "Memories of Fear" translated it to English in 2012. It is a prequel to an influential horror game, Corpse Party (usually known under the abbreviation Dante 98), made by Makoto Kedouin and released for the NEC PC-9801 home system in Japan on April 22, 1996. The games feel like a mix of Clock Tower and Sweet Home, if you want some examples. The original game has seen multiple remakes and has gotten a few sequels and a spinoff in addition to manga and OVA series. Corpse-Party Zero is a sequel which stars two sisters mentioned only in passing in the original Corpse-Party, Kaori Hasegawa and Shiho Hasegawa, who try to escape from the cursed senior high school.
