This (English translation: The Flower Dance of Blue Magic Mirror) is a dual horizontal side scrolling shmup that is inspired by Cave's Death Smiles and was released at Comiket 82. The story is based on Touhou Koumakyou - The Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, where the gameplay uses Barrier System and Break Chance Mode. When the barrier gauge has accumulated, player become invincible and can absorb enemy bullets. In Break Chance Mode, the player will absorb enemy bullets for greater damages and chain shooting. While using keyboard is possible, using analog controller is highly recommended. This game employs the same bullet hell madness but with the exception of it being in a horizontal line and more awesome graphics and seiyuu. You can choose between two characters, Hakurei Reimu and Marisa Kirisame. During the character selection, you can choose what type of weapon you will be developing. There are three types of weapon: straight, spread, and homing to accommodate the player in tackling the stage. There are also 3 difficulties to choose from: easy, medium, and hard. |
