The first major expansion to Dead Island 2 is set in a beautiful mansion in Malibu, where an evil cult dwells. The DLC introduces a new questline, new weapons and skills. The manor is the headquarters of a techno-death cult led by the charismatic Konstantin, who spreads the word of a new, incoming future. The player must infiltrate the mansion and deal with the cult before things get out of hand. It tasks us with exploring a massive estate, completing quests and taking down hordes of enemies. In addition to weapons from the base game, the expansion also introduces three new ones, such as the highly advanced K-ROSSBOW and the red-hot Hog Roaster blade. It also adds eight brand new skill cards. |
