Yeah, I know about those. For me there is always too many adventures coming - I can't play so fast. :) But I'm most eager about Shardlight, Lost Horizon 2, Monolith.

Seriously!? :D Of course you knew about those as those are titles from well known developers. :) Anyway, having seen 1st two screenshot from Yesterday Origins, I'm really eager to play Pendulo's newest as well - especially as I loved 1st Yesterday. :)
I forgot to mention a title which you actually may have not heard about, but intrigues me very much - Kathy Rain.

Lost Horizon 2 makes me wonder now. New screenshots are great but fresh trailer is quite meh.

Do you know about Foxtail? Looks to be another nice indie title. I hope it gets released as so many gets announced and then vanish.

I also hope Silence: The Whispered World 2 will be good. I loved the 1st one, but while I don't like Visionaire engine, I'm also very skeptical about Daedalic's switch to Unity engine and 3D presentation.

Kathy Rain, love the look of that one.
Didn't notice it before now ,thanks.
Foxtail as well ,though it might be a long wait for that one ,did they release a demo for foxtail ?

We really are being spoilt for choices these days :)

Franbow looks good ,well the demo was interesting ,but i think we've mentioned that before.

And of course Kings Quest Chapter 1 has just been released.

Yeah, it's a long wait for Foxtail.
I like Franbow's art a bit, but i usually don't play horror games. :S And King's Quest - nice that another legend is back, but not sure it's my cup of tea.

Yeh ,Kings quest looks very different ,not sure if it was the best way to do a new version.
It's also episodic which seems to be the way of releasing games now ,better than early access though :)
Though episodic releasing forces you to play games in a disjointed way ,i have a few games "open" atmo.
Some i'll burn to dvd as they just sit there on my harddrive taking up space waiting for the next episode to be released.

Franbow is releasing on 27august and it was the art that i found pretty cool too.

Sometimes adventure games can have dodgy gameplay ,but the artwork can keep you interested ,plus the girl behind Franbow is interesting too(Natalia Figueroa).
I think she had some "issues" and it's linked to how the game was born.

I'm with you on that - I really dislike episodic aproach. And I've never tried Early access as I despise broken and limited games. I can wait until everything is polished and published.

Speaking of magic of artwork, I'm still devastated that Taxi Journey didn't get funded, and turned out to be the last nail to Lexis Numérique's coffin. :(

Is it 100% gone ?
Sometimes different funding can be found or a start will be made with the funds raised.
Shame if it's not gonna happen ,i would have liked to see that made.

Maybe, small maybe, the Taxi Journey is barely living under sheets. we can hope that some ex-Lexis Numérique devs keeps it alive as a pet project. But as Lexis Numérique, the developer behind Taxi Journey, went bankrupt after 2 failed Kickstarted campaigns, I don't keep my hopes high.

That's a big shame ,we need more games made by interesting and talented people like this.
It's usually where the classics come from.
Too much "GTA" these days and not enough innovation.

I completely agree! Just like Hollywood, gaming industry lives on sequels and established properties. For years now one can find innovation and risking with new things mainly on indie scene.

That reminds me an indie adventure, which I've waited for long and I'm getting worried will it see release - A Playwright's Tale (ex The Journey of Iesir)!

update: And how could I forget Wadjet Eye backed Automaticity!
"a near-future speculative fiction graphic adventure, set in the New York City of 2027, when the globe is controlled by a handful of megacorporations. The story focuses on Lila Morgan, an ordinary retail worker who gets pulled into the dangerous hacking underworld to uncover a terrifying corporate conspiracy."
But this is planned for 2016 as far as I've read.

If Wadjet Eye have backed it then I'm interested :).
I love Wadjet Eye games.

I didn't know about this game ,A Playwright's Tale (ex The Journey of Iesir).
Thanks for the info.
I wonder why they changed the name(the first name sounds more memorable).

Shardlight will be ready for release soon ,i'm looking forward to playing it.
I think it's based on this older game:
The Rebirth/The Reaper

Thre's a couple of games here that sound interesting:
