Skidrow did an oops! with update4 - it does not install newer Stranger's Wrath launcher. Will crash game at startup (missing config file).

Use update3. Then update4. Then play game via launcher.

They fixed a few bugs with their first crack that's not mentioned in nfo - emulated server stuff that could cause game hangs and force checkpoint restarts.

I had a hard time finding sometime ago this so upped.

I only Installed GearsPC_TU3_Microsoft.exe (this was 6+ months ago though). Used catspaw emu which doesn't modify GOW exe so maybe I got lucky. Or missed something from a previous update. :shrug:

Haven't tried it on any of the listed games but Sandboxie? It stores registry and files in a "local" area that I think is movable. Useful when dealing with possible trojans or license files.
