Vampire The Masquerade: Redemption patch not working!
I've been triing to patch the game, the rip version, so i could save anywere. No luck wathsoeveer. the patch installs but doesnt work. Anyone has a clue about this?
It's probably because patch doesn't replace files - only modifyes them. If file version doesn't match it won't be patched. That's why vampire.exe remain untouched after patching (though other files should be patched). The only solution is to apply official update and replace exe with cracked one - v1.1 of course (however I wasn't able to find one).
I'm bit busy right now so try finding crack yourself, because I don't know when I'll have some time to make *patchfix* and I definitely won't have time to test it. Please reply if my help is still needed.

Now I know what's going on. Patch is incompatibile with the RIP from adventurelegends. It can only be applied to EU version which I have
There's no point in switching files between those versions because they are simply too big. Maybe I could create my own RIP but only if it will have a reasonable size (I've already made a no-cd). Time will tell...

I think that patch successfully updates files of legends RIP, the only problem is cracked exe file, patch can't update it. So if you kindly provide unpatched uncracked exe v1.0 (patch will update it), or patched cracked exe v.1.1 (replace exe after patch and we get updated game) or patched uncracked exe v.1.1 (crack by Silence for this exe can be easily found in the web), it will be enough to get fully patched RIP from one available for download.germo wrote:Now I know what's going on.
