Gray Matter is out!
Finally, after all those years of uncertainty, the fourth Jane Jensen's game was released. I've enjoyed all the Gabriel Knights a lot and looking forward for this one too.

@rastan saga
and IT is like GK2 ... literary it is , with its same sucky quirks like, examine each object on the screen even a sign or a flower to push time forward

I've beat it and would like to share some thoughts. First of all, game is similar to GK: well-written dialogues, characters, division of game by days, mystic elements, substantial research of the events and places - just overall GK feel.
It's certainly not a game to wait 10 years for - it looks just like one of the many recent years adventures, there's nothing grand or epic about game's looks. Some screens look badly drawn compared to other, but that's a minority. The cut-scenes are just crudely-animated drawings, though I admit that they done it in a good style. So, the game is clearly lacked proper budget.
Puzzles are not hard, but that's from my perspective and I've played many adventure games, so I know what to expect. I had to look for help twice - but that wasn't really necessary, I just happened to miss a few things.
Music is fine, but nothing like GK, more like generic background outsourced. Robert Holmes is known for writing some good melodies and
I think he has only done a few songs in here.
The protagonist is an adorable ex-goth girl with lush piercing, black'n'purple hair and interesting background. Instead of usual routine of solving puzzles by attaching hanger to a broom there's much more subtle way used, where you find the solutions in a magic tricks book.
My verdict is - that's will be best easily adventure of the year due to all the work put in it.
