Running games without GFWL

Post by oldman »

Games for windows Live is being shutdown.
But you can use an xlive.dll to run alot of gfwl games.
The one in this linkbelow ,i have been following for a long time.
It is getting better and better as time goes by,thanks to a couple of smart guys,
one is working on singleplayer and the other guy is working on M.P aspects.

You might need to go through the older posts to find the one u need.
Lat time i looked it was up to version 15b
This emulator will allow you to play GFWL games without even having gfwl crap installed.

Features:
- No more debugging / anti-cheat checks
- Faster game loading
- No longer requires CD-Keys
- Partial DLC support

So far the following games have been tested and work:
- Dawn of War 2
- Batman: Arkham Asylum
- Batman: Arkham City
- Halo 2
- Fable 3
+other games too
Things that do not work (yet):
- Multiplayer
- Achievements
============================
15a___.7z
is the one i used to run red faction guerrilla perfectly with saves working.
But you can find other versions in previous posts named by numbers e.g:15a_7z 15b_7z or just xlive. dll.7z

Yeah, we'll try to post fixes for those games unless the publishers reissue them without GFWL.
