note: US exe crack also works on EU installations, because data files are same. And EU nodvd works on US install but no gore.

weird... oh well...the web is full of weird behaviors, like warez sites who don't want a release just because it's not made by the scene or by a known source (personal experience). Maybe they first want to intensely test it to see if it's stable and without bugs, because it's not made by a famous release group.
Or maybe they think it's the same as the (not proper) used by Gog.

Some contributors from these sites -I am expressly saying some, and am admiring the work that the other, biggest no-cd/dox uploaders bring- will refuse your work but will not hesitate to grab the files they like as they want to. I'm more precisely thinking about GigaWatt's fixed no-cd patch for Robocop, which has been downloaded from here, repacked and "shared" on GCW in a very disrespectful way (toward both GigaWatt and the whole site) by a stupid to say the least.

I'm told crack is still buggy with loadgame. So uhm I guess I'll give it another go sometime and search for a missed trigger.

What do you mean with buggy savegame? Savegame glitch with us exe on eu installations?

hgdagon sometimes had a problem with loading savegames and US crack - large swathes of level data not appearing. I can't trigger this problem myself and don't know specific details.

US and EU installs are nearly 100% identical unless it checks registry key, which had no affect on my end.

Sorry guys, I was away doing my own stuff. Forgot to check the forum. Anyway.... Here's the full story.
The game was just fine up until the first boss (Klompa). After you defeat it, there should be 2 cut-scenes. The 1st is pre-rendered, after that there should be scripted a cut-scene (turning into Dark Prince), but instead there was Prince falling into nothingness. I restarted the game, defeated the boss again... same thing. Then I loaded the previous savegame, This time something more interesting happened:

This is a life upgrade section. Well, that time, the whole section behind the door frame was not loaded, just the giant stretched skybox. If I walked there Prince would fall through the floor. (Savegame: The Lower City Rooftops)

The second time I had 2 problems. When I first got here, everything was fine. But then I died, and after loading the save game...

Everything to the right of the green line was not loaded, again just the skybox and the rest of the river (Savegame: The City Gardens). This time I tried restarting the game a few times until it loaded fine (no particular reason). Then I got to the Stone Guardian. And here's the second problem, when you die here, the game loads from a checkpoint right before the Stone Guardian encounter, the Sand Credits crate cannot be broken, and when you're about to ride the Guardian, the game crashes to desktop.

None of this happens with GOG exe, which I, btw, used to make the screenshots, the new exe just crashes to desktop when I press PrtScr.
