DotEmu Store is shutting down !

A warning to anyone who has DRM-free games on store.dotemu.com. I just got this email in:

"To our beloved customers,

After over 6 years of good and loyal service, we sadly inform you that we have decided to definitely close DotEmu's online store. It was a place where thousands of PC gamers had been able to find and to buy their favorite retro games but we have no choice but to close it with a heavy heart.

Unfortunately, there are more and more companies that sell games on the online market, the competition is fiercer than it used to be. On the other side, it’s been now a few years that we’re focusing on the development/publishing of console and mobile games instead of distribution. This is the reason why we, DotEmu, have decided to shut the store down.

The schedules for the closing store are as follows:
March 1st, 2017: You won't be able to buy new games after this date but will still be able to access to your account in order to download the games you previously bought.
June 1st, 2017: the store is closing permanently. The domain will no longer be accessible after this date.

To download your games, please follow the steps below:
Go on the website : https://store.dotemu.com/user
Login
On the top right of your screen, you will find your profile
Select “My Games”
Select the game you want to install
Download and enjoy it!

You don’t have to worry about losing your games, you can still play them even if the store is closed due to the DRM free system. But make sure you download your games before June 1st, otherwise you won’t be able to do so anymore.

Be assured, we will be still looking for great retro games for our community because our mission remains the same: give every gamer access to yesteryear’s classic video games on today's platforms, including PC, mobile, console and more. So, it's time to back up your games !

Just came back from verifying their ENTIRE catalogue for availability elsewhere (took me just two days, no biggie ), and found only two titles worth attention of salvaging before DotEmu's unfortunate shutdown:

1. Chicago 1930 (RPG, Sysiphus) - seems to have been disappearing from various digital stores since long ago (removed from GamersGate @ 2015), matters since 1.1+NoCD+EN is being mentioned nowhere ATM (haven't yet verified on applying NoCD from GCW on patch from PatchesScrolls to keep the game MULTi or just DE)
2. Sudden Strike 3: Arms for Victory (RTS, TAGES ) - PROCYON's ENG clone is the only scene rls, not the base nor expansion(s) were never touched 4 crk'ing, so one's best bet was RUS2ENG unfortunately (RUS crks not compatible with ENG versions). DotEmu now has the base while Zoom Platform has the complete edition (DRM-free on both stores, as written on chat). Plus it was removed from GamersGate @ D2D long ago so it seems this one is also in dire need for salvation. BTW beware of the confusion between The Last Stand expansion & The Next Stand mod

Y, SS3 is still fully available DRM-free @ ZOOM. Just checked on Chicago 1930's availability, and it is there to purchase, but on WildTangent + some other retarded sites. If anyone grabs any of 'em (and/or succeeds in locating/using generic unwrappers for this trialware shite) please help out, and in advance once again

UPDATE: Well FAHK me, iMMERSiON ISO demo (?) + 1.1 patch + Drunk!'s "1.01" NoCD (@ GCW, VOLTAGE's NoCD is dupe) and Chicago 1930 works like a charm (well, except the legacy DirectX/DirectDraw slowdown, but that's the OS' issue), screw WildTangent, lovely, one off the list, ignore the previous post, now for the dreaded Sudden Strike 3 complete

UPDATE: Yep, imma st00pid, just TIL Razor1911 rls'd SS3 Complete 3 months ago (TAGES-free even ), , DotEmu's catalogue seems to be fully covered for now (along with near-death rescue of Salammbo), and thus imma happy
