Sadly it came with a 16-bit installer. I installed this https://github.com/otya128/winevdm/releases and then double clicked on install inside the gamedisc. I havent played the game extensively, but it appears to work as intended. I had to change the default installation directory, as that one was invalid.
It is a mindvision installer btw, there may be a generic fix for that.
