I Can't see it indeed, perhaps your image is hosted is russia or china? I'm at work right now and due malicious activities a lot of countries here are blocked.

Simple browser extension will solve all your issues with locked sites.

I'm on a corporate network environment now that's been locked down tight, for security!

I don't even allow browser extensions and applied app whitelists with SRP

Anyway, now I can see the image! Looks like we have to open that .py file from setup_res and see line 943 see what it does try to update.

Maybe this already gives you more info about what it tries, or about what fails.

Perhaps it's possible to skip that last step, which seems like some online check for a update. Just comment the update procedure out or remove it from the .py file.

And, anyway, setup is damaged, cause uninstaller won't work after such installation. I've got Russian version, and it works ok, no errors during install.

Have you given it a try with UniExtract ? Though it's not intended to work with this kind of installer, it may actually extract some files.

Why would i need this? Im interested in getting original working game image, not installing by any means

Well, it looks like you are running the installer, so my guess was that you were trying to install it

Since this seems to be the case that the game won't install normally (i.e.; someone did a poor job making a DVD installer out the 3 CD version), maybe the link should be scrubbed from the site until we can get our hands on a better copy.

Or someone should try to fix the installer and re-upload a new version based on that effort if it can be done.

It doesn't do LegendsWorld any favors to have a game on the site that won't install properly.

Also another link to point out below, says that the 1.10 patch kills StarForce, but dunno where the English localization would be, and/or if it'd be compatible with the latest version, thought someone might make use of the info (although DLs within are dead ):
