Backup official sites downloads?

Post by starlord »

Hi there, I hope you are all well.

A minor issue I've been thinking of would be to give a second download source to games whose downloads link to their official sites, in case that site moves or dies altogether.

Two games, Arcturus and Galaxias, have this problem and I'm sure more might be in a similar situation.

Would it be possible to post a second download source to get around the problem in the future?

What are your thoughts on this?

Sure, sounds like a good project for someone who wants to contribute to our site. Simply search for "Official Site" on every year page of 3DSL and Adventure Legends, download the free game or level demo and re-upload it somewhere...can even use Internet Archive to store them as they already have lots of old level demos.

Sure, it would be good if we had an upload of our own as sometimes downloads that can be retrieved with archive.org can sometimes disappear or be blocked over time. Thanks in advance.
