last week i played Tabula Rasa and besides the definitely nice animated graphics,lovely landscapes,explosions and sharp AI i missed the old realistic Soldier of Fortune body-part shooter style.So heres a poll question which bothers me for some time now...

realistic: shootable body parts and realistic injuries,

futuristic: WOW effect-style featuring futuristic magical protection-shields,nano suits and so on

Well, it all depends on the time setting of the game. Future soldiers will definitely have high-tech shields and such. But do you really want bloody realistic violence like people's guts hanging out or flying body parts that are even more realistic than in games past?

i have to say i loved that body damage system in sof too but i think
when someone ( like me lol) has fun to shoot someone in the head and looking at the head with that hole and blood is coming out of it and then shooting the head maybe 2 or 3 times more mhhhhhh well

i think this is sick its brainless and its fukkin sick sry i dont want to be so ordinary but i think there should be a limit and were not that far away to cross that limit anymore

i mean graphics get better realistic its always gettin better damn the day will come when you wont be able to see the diffrence between a video game and the real life ok it will take a little bit to be that far if you look at the point where we are now but it wont take that long anymore thats what i mean

and what i mean is that a video game isnt anymore a game when you cant make a diffrence between reality and video game

mh well we all know gore and violence is gore and violence it doesnt matter how real or how fukkin bad it looks but i think well i just think that we shouldnt (or lets say game producers) get to far crossing the limit.

Strange question, but I vote for gore. Al Gore. I would choose a gory scifi flick or game instead of a toned down scifi movie or violent gangster wars movie.
