Troubles with Ceremony of Innocence

Post by player347 »

Hi! I have downloaded this game, Ceremony of Innocence, with e-mule and when I launched it on Windows 98(in VirtualPC), i got an error, something like "An error has occured. Click Cancel to terminate program or Ignore to continue..." and when I click Ignore i get the message "The program has performed an illegal operation". So, I thought that maybe there is a problem with the copy of the game I downloaded with e-mule. So, I dowloaded your version and I still have the same troubles. I even installed Windows 95 and I tried running it under Win95 but still nothing. If you know how could I run this game please tell me. Thanks!

I`m sorry for bothering...it`s working now. I can say that I had luck rather than solving the problem through a concrete method. The ReadMe file said that the game does not run only in 16-bit color mode. I changed it to see how the game behaves at 32-bit and than it workes fine. In fact I still got an error causing the crash of the game, but I retryed and then it worked fine. It`s a liitle bit bothering the fact that I have to start the game twice each time I want to play but I`m glad it`s working.
