Have ancient 486/Pentium based PC with DOS/Windows 9x installed for your nostalgic purposes?
I reanimate that 15 years old way for original DOOM based games multiplayer over internet with tcpsetup & ifrag tools and look for dm opponents / cooperative buddies. DND me with modern source ports multiplayer suggestions, please.
Vanilla Doom/Heretic/Hexen over internet.

I'm interested this is an extremely old post so I don't know if you'll ever see this. :S
My old school PC is a Dual P2 450mhz, 1GB ECC SDRAM, Voodoo 3 3000 (plan to upgrade to the V5 5500) and Sound Blaster 16 ISA. Has a dual boot of 98 and DOS and fully configured properly. I got the PC in a trade, some weird dual server board, it runs awesome. Even the 1999/2000-era games run great.
