Another Edit: It doesn't seem to like DOSBox v0.74. It spits out this lovely message when you try to run it (Mit dem "Game Wizard" ist das wohl etwas unfair, oder?!). I ran the message through a translater and while a bit humorous I have no idea what the problem actually is. :x
Well yeah, just finished the Eternal Damnation Mod for Postal 2. Somehow I missed that one over the years and just recently discovered it.
It's more of a total conversion thing.. it has its own story, soundtrack, voice acting, weapons (lots of) and is so totally different from the original game ...
Yeah, I liked the videos, too. Watched all available so far. Better than installing and testing every single one
Ah and sorry if his post sounds a bit s trange or something. It was previously posted in the old "Console FPS Section?" thread from which I split it to a new one.
@ Dead-Meat - Maniac Mansion has been supported by Scumm for ages...
The game itself yes.. but not if you started it from DOTT (there's some PC where you could start a game and play whole MM game without having separate install of it). So in the latest version I saw it had some popup telling you ...
Right... if I'm not mistaken, the last change in algorithm was while introducing v3.0. Would be awesome if they had something better. Well, I still prefer free tools but in the end, (win)rar is some nice-to-handle tool
Imagine the time it takes to (i.e.) ecm and ISO and then RAR it up with maximum compression... on my computer I think I'm faster in uploading 50MB than in saving. Compression without compression ( ) doesn't even take 1/3rd of the time.
Open WinRAR, select the file and click on "Extract To". Then select "Keep broken files". Maybe now it will unpack the whole archive. If it is a scene release, run the SFV file and check which files are broken. You only have to re-download the files which are broken.
I would not recommend compressing isos, because there are users who do not know how to use all these fancy programs. They have daemon tools installed and speak only their native non English language. Even loosing tens of megabytes is not worth it.
That's absolutely right. It was ok back in the ...
From experience I'd say archive 2 is broken. If it was the first, it would not show any size. If it was the third, it would tell you packed size is 100 MB (if 50MB rars) and so on.
If one archive is "missing" to unpack one or more files, WinRAR GUI's explorer will show like "filename ---->" like it ...
