Hi
I noticed that the oldest news archive pages of both 3DSL and AL can't be loaded. In both cases, the most recent news archive page is loaded instead.
On 3DSL , clicking the news archive links for 2000-2001 load

Re: Storage/backup solutions for large data
There are a few cloud backup providers that offer "unlimited" space for very low prices. I personally use Crashplan and Backblaze. They both set you back around $5-$6 a month. I signed up for both because I wanted to compare and pick one, but kept the two because I'm really happy with both, and I ...

Re: "MEGAdownloader"?!
I suppose the reason why he's doing it is because Mega downloads can be a hassle. For example they work only in very few browsers, Chromium-based ones are the only ones I know about. And even there, the downloads are far from comfortable. They're stored in a temporary folder until they are 100 ...

Re: The Shareware CD Archive
Hmm, these look like full versions?
They are, I downloaded one myself to check. More than that, they even host many complete TOSEC romsets now. I doubt Sega would be amused to see them distribute a zip file containing the complete Genesis library... they're entering some dangerous territory now ...

Re: The Shareware CD Archive
I'm pretty sure they got some of The DOOM Level CD Collection images from us too, but since they provide an archive that will last forever, then more power to them.
Yeah, they also got a few magazine coverdiscs and cover scans up there that I recognised as mine, shared e.g. at UG  but I ...

Re: The Shareware CD Archive
I love that collection, I'm checking weekly to see what has been added. They have a lot of game magazine cover discs with playable demos that are otherwise very hard to find these days.

Re: Are GOG games RIP or Full ISO Content?
Some DOS games (probably where they weren't able to remove the copy protection?) actually come with the full ISO that is then mounted in DOSBox. Maybe this extends to some of the games with Redbook audio?

Upcoming: Carmageddon: Reincarnation (2013)
This is for the Upcoming section in 3DSL, since all the other Carmageddons are on the site, and the Kickstarter project has secured its funding so the game will be made...

Cool
I wasn't here for quite a while, great to see the site is still as well-maintained as I remember it

Re: Correction: Alien Shooter add-ons
Yes, I noticed, but the title of the mission packs are actually:
Alien Shooter MP: The Experiment
Alien Shooter MP2: Fight For Life
That's what I meant; the MP and MP2 should be switched.

Correction: Alien Shooter add-ons
The Alien Shooter add-ons, both from 2004 and in the TPS section, are the wrong way around on the site. "Fight for Life" was the first mission pack, "The Experiment" the second.

[SOLVED] Music in Corporation (1991)?
Edit: Alright, I figured out why I had no music. Turns out I was not aware of how one needs to configure DOSBox to use the Timitidy MIDI Synthesizer under Ubuntu.

Fixed: Hitman Codename 47 music under Windows Vista SP-1
I did not know where to put this - maybe you would like to add it next to the game's download links, maybe not, but I thought it would be good to let other players know, as more people are bound to run into this problem: after applying SP-1 to Windows Vista, or installing a new release of DirectX 10 ...
