Stainless Games Ltd.

In 2012 Stainless Games Ltd., developers of the first two Carmageddon games, re-acquired the rights to the brand and the previously released titles. Carmageddon: Reincarnation is a crowd-funded (through Kickstarter) revival of the original game from 1997, with 5 of the 8 original developers still present. The game is inspired by the scenario, locations, tracks, cars, drivers and power-ups of the original, updating mainly the technical side of the game for the new millennium. Most of the original game elements return. Among the main new features are an improved multiplayer mode, modding facilities, and a better Action Replay mode that allows direct upload of replay scenes to YouTube.
