Supposedly they're still working on it. They were even hiring people this past Summer @ the developer company.

But I wouldn't hold my breath for it.... you'd die from a lack of oxygen.

Not a chance for it to come out. As I remember, first mention about 'DN forever' was 4-5 years ago... it`s alot of time in games branch.
I think it could be great game...

I think it will come, when... that's the question. Prey was offical cancelled and now it's ready. They said, they couldn't do, what they really wanted, know they could. I think the same it is with duke forever.

It´s much longer in development! The first screenshots from Duke Nukem Forever showed a version that was build on the Quake1 engine... so it´s 8 - 9 years already!

In PC Gamer of July was a review about Prey with some hidden secrets about DNF, some 3DRealms fans I know from their board claim it will be released even before Prey without Joe Siegler say anything about it... In 1999 the game trailer was unbelieveble, since they have never released any pic of the new version with their new and own engine.

i remember sometime ago 3DRealms asked for user suggestions and ideas on their board for the next DN game (which ended up being ridiculed by SomethingAwful as usual

).

i thought the DNF demo movie was awesome and if im not mistaken, it was created from Q2 engine (not Q1), then it was planned to shift to the UT engine, then nothing :\

i even heard rumors that it was due to technology changes that kept delaying them.
