Windows 98 Install Error

damn this freakin bullshit

i tried to install win98 as a second OS on my pc for the older games like mortal kombat

and right at the start of the installation i get a message

that sounds like (i translate that as good as i can because its in german)


"strange ms dos files found"
(i believe this is the winXP installation)

then i can choose between delete files and i can choose that the files stay

but mhhhhhh i tried both options lol........and well both dont work because i get a message then i never heard before

"not enough avaible memory cannot load COMMAND"

and the setup cancel`s WTF is this ! ? plz help me

oh one thing more im using 2 HD`s but one of them i dont know how to explain but in partrition magic the second HD is BAD

i cant choose that HD all that stands there is "BAD"
i cant do nothing with this HD i cant convert change the size etc nothing
i already discovered that a year ago but i never mind about that

maybe someone knows what i mean and what i can do

Perhaps it´s because it´s formated in NTFS????

Vielleicht weil die Platte in NTFS Formatiert ist???

jo die platte hab ich vor ungefähr nem jahr zu NTFS konvertiert

aber ich kann sie ja auch nicht zu FAT32 zurueck konvertieren mit partrition kein plan wieso geschweige den weshalb

geht ja null mit der 2ten Festplatte 8( gibt mir nur error macht er einfach nicht aber die platte läuft einwandfrei ich installier ja auch games und son kram drauf kein plan was da abgeht

was , ahm what (good to know 4 languages ) o and you can convert your hdd back to fat32 but to do this you need the win xp instalation disk (the one with the cd-auto start you know , you use the cd like a autostart disk )
, after you run you comp from this cd in the menu pick the format option to fat32 - simple isn`t it , o and then you sinply run the win install on the partition with fat32 , little tip win 98 will not detect a disk with ntsc ...
