Playing the devious rip I have a question about the violence lock.
When playing with the sof2.exe provided with the rip there is no violence lock option at the main menu. When playing with the Devious " VIOLENCE LOCK REMOVER FOR RIP" there is a violence lock option that has a locked padlock next to it - ( so i assume this means that violence has been locked) . If i try to enter any password to open this - an invalid password message appears. Q - Is there a password needed for the unlocker - if so does anyone have it? If the unlocker is not displayed ,as with the original rip exe , does this mean that violence has already been unlocked?
Secondly do any of the official patches work with the rip - if so which ones please.

- Violence lock:
To reset the password to blank, create a shortcut to SoF2.exe.
Right click on it -> Properties -> add "+set lock_blood 0" to the Target line.
Start the game with the shortcut: now you have access to the violence options.
- Updates:
Afaik all the official patches (including the 1.03 Gold) work with this rip.
I suppose that you know where to find the NoCDs...
