Nicely made video. :)
She might be active in other areas but not in Abandonware. Even in 2005 there wre only 3 major updates. It's a shame control of the site wasn't handed over to someone who has the motivation to keep doing it. :(

G.O! :D

Nice to see some familiar folk from Hotu forums here, imho.Oyn`s around somewhere too ....

Awesome vid...really brings back memories...UD we love & miss you !

Now Hotu is mostly the forum...and the forum users(regulars) scare me,esp in G.D with all their flame wars :/

Ha, hey Neo_viral. I'd say the forum (which use to be active) has really died off in the last year. It's partly to do with the site not being updated, but also due to the bad atmosphere that developed since UD's increasing absence. There were also some poor moderator choices that didn't help things too well! Actually, the current team was not picked by UD but mostly handed down from others who stopped caring.

You made a nice film GO, it looks quite professional. I have one objection, though: you seem to accuse Sarinee of abandoning HotU as if it was her job/duty to keep the site going, not a hoby.

My opinion is that you've been too harsh to her, and that she doesn't deserve it. It was her own will to start HotU, and she has the right to give it up whenever she likes. Which she obviously did. Unfortunately. :(

I'm not really trying to accuse her of anything, but the video is open to interpretation and your own personal beliefs. I'm not trying to be harsh either - but here again, if that's how you perceive it...

well its ahem this music is not from homeworld , the mix he used is but originally its from Samuel Barber - Adagio For Strings Opus 11

Still, it's not from Homeworld, but from Samuel Barber.

The game - as many other games/movies before, may have used it, but that is all.

"From" doesn't necessarily mean "written for", now quit being so goddamn literal.

"From" signifies an origin, which is wrong in this case. What you mean is "also used by".

And this is not a question of being literal, but a question of culture.

(Just teasing you!) :)
