Trapped in Desperabis

I'm playing Desperabis, a interesting german "adventure-shooter" game from 2001. Runs fine in DOSBox.

Well, I'm trapped in a level of the first episode. In this puzzle:

I've placed the IV and IX numbers in their respective marked squares, and two doors opened. But the third one remains closed. Then I ordered all the numbers -"solving" the puzzle, one could say-, but nothing happens. What to do in order to open the third door?

Maybe somebody here had also played this game and solved that level...

P.S.: You should post this on Aracades3D. Maybe they can help you there or on Duke España.

Regarding your own problem: Maybe you didn't mount the correct directories.

in dosbox loading and loading and close and say

Warning SPOILERS!
In Level 1 gibt es keine Gegner, aber Waffen! Zunächst sollte man sich den Schlüssel für die Hütte besorgen. Der liegt oben an der rechten Mauer beim Schloss hinter dem See. Mit diesem Schlüssel gelangt man in die Hütte, vor der man gestartet ist. In der Hütte kann man mitnehmen: 2 Pfeile und eine Rattenfalle (sehr nützlich!). Zwischen den Häusern liegt außerdem ein Stein.

translated - In level 1 there are no opponents, but weapons! First one should procure oneself the key for the hut. That is above because of the right wall with the lock behind the lake. With this key one arrives into the hut, before which one is started. In the hut one can carry forward: 2 arrows and case of rat (very useful!). In addition between the houses a stone lies.

@Dude_link: The problem is, that the directory name "DESPERABIS" is too long. DOS (and of course also DOS-Box) can only handle file and directory names with a maximum length of 8 characters (+ 3 for extension).

Try renaming C:\DESPERABIS to C:\DESPER. This should work.

Well, that guide only covers the second episode... but I've found a complete walkthrough. Archive.org keeps an old copy of the Desperabis' homepage. Look here:

The guides for the two episodes are in "Losüngen" (I say it correctly? My german is much worse than my english :p)

What commands do you use to mount the virtual drive C? How do you start the game?
