Maybe a fun vid, but it's all about taste. In my opinion, in a top 10 list, there shouldn't be FPS exclusive to consoles firstly. There's HL² and not the 1st one, and Quake but not UT. That's strange, they prefer to put Doom 3 and Halo which are, still in my opinion, very bad.
On a french site there was a vote for the Best FPS of all the time, and I prefer this list. Here the 1st one, a vote between a long list of FPS :

hl
q3
deus ex
duke 3d
far cry
bf2
hl2
goldeneye
stalker
arma

And the last one, between already sorted FPS (ok it's a top12) :

HL
Duke Nukem 3D
Far Cry
Quake 3
Deus Ex
FEAR
HL²
CS 1.6
Doom
Battlefield 2
Goldeneye
RTCW

People only say Halo was a good fps because it was the first multiplayer fps on xbox console , the same with Goldeneye on N64. Played those two and they where very bad games , but yeah Goldeneye will be on the top list not because it was fun but because all console Fps that later came , stole AUTO AIM and few other control schemes from Goldeneye that opened the way/helped/made it possible for the FPS genre to be on consoles today

Hmm... Top Ten? Of course these are only the ones I've played and liked.

Duke3D - played the hell out of this.
Half-Life - no surprise
Quake 2 - I like single player games
Blood - kicking zombie heads around
Medal Of Honor - (was that the one where you raised the Red flag over the Reichstaag?)
Descent - amazing game play for the time
Lo Wang - yeah, it's juvenile, but the level design was good
FEAR: Perseus Mandate - best of the three
Undying - did something new and different
Call Of Duty - the WW2 games where good, but it didn't take too log to burn out on them

Well, I think a top ten is disrespectful. Many titles deserve the right to be named with different reasons. A top 25 would be more appropriate. Can we do better?

I'm sure we could, but everybody's so opinionated it would be hard to get a consensus.

P.S. - Number 11 and 12=Resident Evil and Half-Life 2.
